Manitoba CAEC Prior Learning Assessment Recognition Request Form

In Manitoba, candidates, who have achieved a passing standard on a 2002 Canadian Test Series GED test in the same subject can request to have the results of the applicable tests recognized for at least the first three years of the CAEC implementation - to June 2027. To have up to four GED subject test considered, please complete and submit this form.

Manitoba does not allow candidates to rewrite a CAEC subject test for which a previously written GED test has been awarded.
A maximum of 4 CAEC tests can be exempted. Candidates must write at least one CAEC subject test.

NOTE: Requests will be processed within 10 business days from the date of submission.
You may be contacted by the Adult Learning and Literacy (ALL) office if additional information is needed.
